About EasyCheapAirfare

We built EasyCheapAirfare because comparing flight prices shouldn’t mean opening twelve browser tabs.

The site searches hundreds of airlines and booking sites at once and shows you what each one charges. You pick the option you want and book directly with that airline or provider; we’re never in the middle of your transaction, and we never add a fee to the price you see.

Why & when we started:

Let’s be honest: airfare pricing is confusing. Prices change by the hour, hidden fees appear at checkout, and finding a real deal feels like luck. We built EasyCheapAirfare to change that.

EasyCheapAirfare launched in 2022 with a specific reader in mind: students and budget travellers.

If money is tight, the difference between a $180 fare and a $320 fare decides whether the trip happens at all. But finding the cheaper one usually means knowing which sites to check, when to book, and which “deal” quietly adds fees at checkout. That knowledge shouldn’t be the price of admission for travelling.

So we built the thing we wanted: one search that shows the real price across every option, free, with nothing hidden.

How we make money:

We’re free to use, and we’d rather explain why than leave you wondering.

When you book through a link on our site, the airline or travel provider pays us a small commission. That commission comes out of their margin, not your fare; you pay the same price you would booking direct.

This matters for one reason. It means we have no incentive to show you a more expensive option. We don’t rank results by who pays us most. We show what’s cheapest, because a comparison site that doesn’t do that has no reason to exist.

Who we work with:

We compare prices through established travel platforms including Aviasales, Booking.com, Trip.com, Hotellook, HotelsCombined, EconomyBookings, KiwiTaxi, Viator and GetYourGuide.

These are the companies that actually handle your booking. We connect you to them and step out of the way.

What we don’t do

We don’t take your payment. Bookings are completed on the airline’s or provider’s own site, under their terms and their customer service.

We don’t add booking fees. Not at checkout, not anywhere.

We don’t use cookies to inflate prices on repeat searches. If you search the same route twice, the price doesn’t creep up because of us.

We’re not a travel agency. We can’t change bookings, issue refunds, or handle cancellations; that’s between you and whoever you booked with.
